Star Wars – May the 4th Be With You
The annual day to celebrate Star Wars comes with the saying, “May the 4th Be With You.”
But what in the world does this have to do with patio furniture or barbecues? It turns out there’s a lot! From outdoor fire pits to even lounge furniture, Star Wars is everywhere!
Here’s some examples of what we’ve found:
I don’t know about you, but if the Dark Lord of the Sith told me to eat my vegetables, I’d make sure it happened! Even if my name wasn’t Luke. . .
Speaking of aprons: when barbecuing, if we were an Artoo unit, we’d never have to worry about burning our hands now, would we?
One of the more interesting Star Wars related barbecue ideas we had seen however, are these corn on the cob holders.
Han Solo may have said, “Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side,” when talking to Luke about his lightsaber. But clearly he never tried a corn on the cob done this way before.
One thing he can do is also roast the corn over a fire. Perhaps even in a fire pit the shaped in the head of Darth Vader?
Apparently after Return of the Jedi, Vader’s helmet just kept burning.
But one thing we do here at Sun Country is also offer patio furniture. With many different styles of furniture at our store, wouldn’t it be neat to see something Star Wars related? Whether it be this Boba Fett inspired folding chair:
Or even this custom Artoo Detoo chair:
We’d sure love to see some Star Wars-themed patio furniture in the store.
But we imagine the chances of that happening would be 3,720 to 1.
I suppose, however, that we should never be told the odds.
